Beterbiev might go back to the UK if Buatsi or Azeez wins.

In Saturday's major light-heavyweight match, which will be shown live on Sky Sports, Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez will put their unbeaten records and world title aspirations at stake. WBC, IBF, and WBO champion Artur Beterbiev is willing to face the victor.

According to Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, undisputed world champion Artur Beterbiev may be willing to face the victor of Joshua Buatsi vs. Dan Azeez in the future.

In their bout on Saturday night at The O2, the British light-heavyweight competitors will jeopardize both their hopes of winning the world title and their perfect records.

Beterbiev stopped Anthony Yarde in a thrilling battle at Wembley in January, while he takes on another British contender, Callum Smith, in a rescheduled defence of his WBC, IBF and WBO titles in Quebec on January 13.

If the Canada-based champion extends his explosive unbeaten record, featuring 19 knockouts in 19 wins, then Beterbiev could offer a world title shot to the Buatsi-Azeez winner.

"Since Artur made such a big splash in the UK against Yarde, we would not be opposed to him returning one day in the future," Arum, who promotes Beterbiev,

Azeez has already traded numerous punches with Beterbiev after being brought in for explosive sparring sessions.

Beterbiev defeated Anthony Yarde in a dramatic contest at Wembley in January. On January 13, he will face Callum Smith, another British challenger, in Quebec as part of a rescheduled defense of his WBC, IBF, and WBO belts.

Beterbiev can offer the victor of Buatsi-Azeez a shot at the world championship if the champion from Canada maintains his impressive unblemished record, which includes 19 knockouts in 19 victories.
